"I wrote this song while I was in prison 2010. The inspiration was how I was feeling during my transition from "dope boy to church boy" as light was being shined on the sins in my life that needed to be dealt with in order for me to be a productive citizen in society and the biggest of them all being lust."

"I only had a keyboard to use as the beat. So it was written to a 4/4 beat and then we found a beat in the music room out of pre-made beats already in the keyboard."
